Maple Bacon Cupcakes
So.... Continuing on with my baking craze! I decided to bake cupcakes for my friends' birthdays on 12 and 15 September! I decided to try something new and super crazy(according to my friends), Savory cupcakes! Okay, not the whole thing but like parts of it. Since everyone likes maple syrup and everyone likes bacon, why not merge it together? Sounds weird but it actually is really yummy. Thumbs up. Got the recipe from Rachell Tan but edited it a little.
130g Butter (softened)
3/4 cup Sugar
2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
3. Add the eggs one by one and the maple syrup in.
4. Beat in the self raising flour and salt.
5. Mix in the bacon bits.
6. Scoop the mixture into the cups and place them into the oven for around 15-20 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
Frosting's optional and in my opinion, it overpowers the cupcakes so don't put so much! Frosted mainly for decorative purposes.
Butter
Cream Cheese
Icing Sugar
Just beat all together and I don't really know the exact values of each!
If its not creamy enough, add butter.
If its not sweet enough, add icing sugar.
All packed up and ready to go! Enjoy it:)

Gardens by the Bay//
Visited Gardens by the Bay for the first time! It was around 7:30 pm so it was really hard to take a lot of photos w/out using flash.
Went to Cloud Forest and we were greeted by this majestic *ahem man-made* waterfall which was spewing water all over! It was really cold inside too as apparently we were supposed to be looking at the mountainous climate. Refreshing and cool, pretty waterfall, looks like some place in a fairy tale, probably a ideal wedding photo shoot place! :D
And it was really dark plus flash ruins photos so we took pretty cool silhouette photos against the waterfall.
#ootd simple red striped dress plus striped Toms.
IM THE TALLEST YAY. Look at my wet hair. I tried looking at the bottom of the waterfall but I was greeted by lots of water.
One of the views from the top of the "mountain". I really enjoyed the tree top/canopy walk and you could see MBS and the Flyer from inside too.
That's er Domo almost falling off the edges, down the mountain.
Finally found good nice yellow lighting here.
Supertree at night. It was blasting music. Funny but pretty, I look forward to coming back again to visit the Supertree Grove and the Flower Dome! :)
I really enjoyed the visit and do not hesitate going to Gardens by the Bay.
It's a sight!

Dolce Gusto Piccolo!
All the different capsules for the different kinds of coffee. Tried the cappuccino. It was mighty good.
And for the first trial! GREEN TEA LATTE! Eunice said it was nice and the guy gave me one set to try plus its like caffeine free and i don't wanna drink coffee in the evening so green tea latte it is.
Shall try the Latte Macchiato tomorrow! So first you insert the milk capsule(the white one) and steamed milk froth comes out! The directions will be on the box.
Than the green tea, from the black capsule.
Finished product!
I love how its so user friendly for coffee newbies like me and its so simple to use! ahh :D plus the drinks are reaaaaallly good. I tried the vanilla latte and the cappuccino too. This is a must-have in your kitchen and if you don't have a coffee machine yet, the Dolce Gusto Piccolo is the one for you. :)

Kites.
September holidays! Studied and than went to Marina Barrage to fly kites! Such a nice view of MBS and the Singapore Flyer. Plus the wind was really cooling. Its a really good place to picnic and just to chill with your friends. Plus since the scenery is so nice, its a great place to take photos! Even saw a wedding photo shoot which was held there.

Our kites! My dad bought them from Sri Lanka and they are so pretty. Their "wings" flutter along with the breeze.
This exhibit will light up when you press your hand against the hand shaped "button" thingamajig. It's pretty cool!
This is a model of the Barrage and it shows you how the system works when there is heavy rain and all and how it helps to prevent flooding.

And if you are feeling heated up from all that playing and running around, you can always visit the gallery on Level 2 of the Barrage to cool down! :D They have really cool exhibits and some are even interactive which makes it fun for the kids and even adults.
