Got a new lip shimmer and tinted lip balm for Christmas 2012 from The Body Shop thus decided to do a review on it!
It's my first time using make up products from The Body Shop and after trying it out, I really really like it! Love the texture, the color, the smell, the packaging etc! Basically in one word, awesomeness.
I don't really like too vibrant or neon colors for just casual wear so this two lip products work really well for me! If you prefer more color, this won't suit you! Do look at the swatches that I did for reference.
To me, smell is a really vital factor to whether I will purchase the product and that is also why I own so many Body Shop soaps, shampoos, perfumes & moisturizers as all the scents smell really good and just make you feel revitalized. As for these two, they are full of fruity goodness and not only make your lips look good but smell good! Plus points for this!
Also I like that the texture of the lip shimmer & tinted balm are similar to that of a Chapstick. It stays on much longer than usual lip gloss and looks like lip gloss while keeping your lips moisturized. Some lip glosses are too liquid and you have to keep reapplying it but this one stays on unless you eat.
The product comes in a pot packaging thus it's easy to carry around. Also unlike some other products that come in a metal pot packaging, this one is easy to open! Thumbs up on its user friendliness!
